Hi Experts,
in the past we created an extension for the MyInbox app in the WebIDE. Now we try to migrate this project to BAS as described in here. Migration is finished without any errors and a .extconfig.json was created. Via the Application Info screen, we are able to preview and deploy the app. So far so good.
But when we want to make changes the next day, we can't preview the application anymore and we can't open the Application Info screen anymore. We get a warning Can't show application info: No applications found . When we click on the create extension menu option we get the error: The '.extconfig.json' file does not include the required data for this process to continue in SAP Business Application Studio.
So we have to migrate the project again, do our changes (we did the day(s) before) and add the new changes, then we can preview and deploy the application again. We are lucky that we have to do small modifications at the moment. But this way of working is far from ideal.
Why is this happening and what needs to be done to avoid this behavour?
