Hi,

I am getting error message while creating attachment in the work item but it was working fine in Development and quality.. only happens in production... without attachment my workflow works fine.. the only problem is attachment.. Pls guide me how to resolve it..

Error :- Work item 000000575666: Object 000000575666 method SENDTASKDESCRIPTION c

Document <FOL33000000000004RAW35000000027513> could not be sent

Error handling for work item 000000575666...

Hi,

I faced the same issue earlier. I had missed concatenating the agent for send mail with prefix US. Please check whether its correct in your system.

Hi

Can you please check whether you can display the attachment from the Workflow Log?

Also check there is no issue with login language of the user in the user master.

Hello,

Check if WF-BATCH has a valid email address in Production.

Does it work in other workflows in Production?

Hiiii,

@AGardipkar -- I am not able to open the attachement in the workflow log... how to resolve this??

Logon Language is EN only..

@ rIck -


Other workflow are working fine in Production but they are not using any attachment in it..

Hi Roop,

I am facing the problem where i am getting the same error even though i have userid and his email id in BOR object and same mapped with this back ground task.

This is coming for few users.Not able to understand the reason. Your help will be highly appreciated.

Hi...

i am using the attachemnt the "User Decision" Step .. when the approver rejects the workitem in the user decision then he will creating an attachment saying the reason for rejection ...

Binding in User decision .......

Workflow Step user decision

&_ATTACH_OBJECTS& <= &_ATTACH_OBJECTS&

the same is working in DEV & Quality but not Production dont know reason..

Hello,

The original message says that there's a problem with SENDTASKDESCRIPTION, ie sending a mail, so are you sure there's a problem with the attachment? If you look in the workflow log, can you see the attachment?

Dear Rick,

I can see the attachment in the workflow log.. Problem only happens the approvers creates attachment in the "USER DECISION" step then workflow comes to error and not sending the notification mail.. But if the approver not attaching anythg then it sends notification mail and workflow completes... Problem happens only when attachment is added...

The same working fine along with the attachment in Development and Quality.... Problem with production server...

Hello,

What format is the attachment? How is it being attached to the mail?

Do any other workflows in Production do something smilar?

Dear Rick,

Attcahment is added in the "User Decision ' Step while approving/rejecting the work item in the window u will getting the button Create Attachment.. the user creates the attachment there and saves it... the same is working without attachment..

Everything is fine Development and Quality server... Only happens in production.. any configuration is required for attachment ???

Hello,

I'll see if I can find anything, I assume you've searched as well though.

Please make sure you're getting all of the error messages in the workflow log, try Extras > All Errors.

Does it only happen for some users? Check SU53 or ST01 for authorization problems.

Check that it finds at least one recipient and that it is a valid user.

Also check SOST for any errors.

Anyone else have ideas?

Dear All,

I resolved the Error .. there are some patch diff b/w DEV & Prod system ...

Root cause for the attachment is the note 1115440 and 1092152..... which exists in one of the SAP patches we updated and resolved it..

i thank every1 for the help...
