Hi Experts,

I am trying to run a standard report called: MB5B.

I am getting a message "Maximum Runtime Exceeded" after some time without the report being executed. I am not able to run some other Z Reports also.

What could be the problem. Is this a BASIS issue or some other kind.

Thanks and Regards

AK

1. Yes it is BASIS.

2. It is no question for experts, but for basic end user instructors.

Sorry I have to say this.

3. Read the short dump. It tells you what to do.

Hi Rudolf,

Have you read my message clearly. If not please do so.

It is not a short dump that i am getting. I am getting a MESSAGE "Run Time Exceeded" and the control is back to the main screen of SAP GUI with out the report executed.

Thanks and Regards

have a look at sapnote n° 25.528 -> you can extend this amount of time using the appropriate profile parameter

rdisp/max_wprun_time

which has a default of 600 seconds...in order to activate the new value permanently you'll need to restart the sap application server after having changed the profile using transaction rz10 (you could use rz11 and change the value dynamically...BUT: the next time the sap application server is started the "old" value will be active)
