Menu entry Subscription missing in api business hub trial

Hi,

I was trying to follow a tutorial for the api business hub with my trial account. (https://www.sap.com/developer/tutorials/hcp-abh-api-ui5-app.html)

I have activated the api business hub on my trial account.

After logging in to the api.sap.com page, I do not see the subscriptions menu entry on the left. Only "Home", "Api Packages", and "egetting started " is visible.

What am I missing ?

Hi Marcus,

Thank you for your Q. As Gaurav mentioned there has been a change to the API Business Hub, announced at SAPPHIRE; https://blogs.sap.com/2017/05/12/api-business-hub-turns-1-yr-old-do-more-with-more/ .

This update to the look and feel also meant changes to how API Keys work. The tutorial should now be updated to reflect the lack of Subscription (although it may not have all screenshots updated yet). I hope this helps in your working with API Business Hub to explore SAPs APIs 🙂

Hi Marcus,

Thanks for trying out API business hub. You are not missing anything, there's been an update to API business hub hence the screenshot that are there in the guide are different. With this you no longer need to subscribe the api's prior usage. Hope this helps.
