Mdg issue- plz advice

Hi all,

We are facing an issue, where the purchase group in material master is made a mandatory field.

We have the MDG setup in place, so as per standards behaviour of system, the respective field should also become automatically mandatory in mdg system.

But this is not happening.

Please advice what we need to check n where can be the issue..

Hello Radhakanta,

Check if you have any custom BADI implementation which is overwriting the standard behaviors.
If the field is made mandatory in IMG configuration, then it should be mandatory at MDG level as well.

Look for any custom implementation of the BADI USMD_ACC_FLD_PROP_CUST_DEP_SET.
This might impact the standard configurations.
