MDG Integration with MS Teams

Has any tried integrated MS Teams with the MDG workflow. We would like to trigger the notifications for review and approval via MS Teams chat, has this this been done before.. Can you provide some guidance on how this can be done.

Hello,

Yes we can send external notifications during MDG Change request governance process in any step like approval ,rejection and so on .

for sending notifications to MS teams only we need BTP cockpit otherwise no.

Uisng SAP BTP ypu can send

• Subscribe to alert notification service in BTP Cockpit.
• Creating a Disk Usage Alert.
• Creating Actions i.e. Email & Teams Notification

• ne approach is to use the Microsoft Teams Connector in BTP, which allows you to send messages to a specific channel in a Microsoft Teams team.
• Another approach is to use the Microsoft Graph API to send messages to a specific channel or user in Microsoft Teams from within the BTP workflow.
• Also, you can use BTP's built-in webhook feature to send a message to a channel or user in Microsoft Teams via a webhook URL.

Thanks for inputs, I did come across all your suggestion but I am pressed in time and have to answer a query, So can you kindly take the below inputs and answer in the below context.

Issue - Customer wants to Send a Approval/Review and completion notification for Creation/Modification request

I am new to this so kindly excuse my ignorance. Will we be able to trigger notification from the MDG Workflow using the approaches suggesetd. Should we Implement any BTP Workflow which is different from MDG Workflow..

Can you specify any use case where you have used BTP Workflow leaving the MDG Workflow.
