MDG F -- Value population in custom fields

Currently, we are working on a POC for MDG-F.

Populating values into the custom fields of an enhanced standard table in SAP MDG-Finance

I am facing issue related to MDG- F , where we have 2 custom fields (Zsaknr and Zsystem) added into the SKA1 table and we need values to be populated in the Z fields when the CR is approved or save.

Can anyone tell me how to do this as this is my first MDG-F project and what I understand is that no SMT mapping required here until and unless we are replicating the data.

Hi Abdul,

The data model is extended with the Z-fields , if you can kindly tell me how to extend the corresponding replication method. the replication process that is in place is through idoc.

some steps or link for the same will be extremely appreciated

Hi Arpan,

MDG-F is a flex model. Currently if the SKA1 is extended, you will need to extend the data model to have the fields in MDG and the corresponding replication method would also be needed to be extended to handle the transfer of data.
