We faced a problem with Initial password on SAP Netweaver AS Java system where UME has Microsoft AD as a datasource.
First of all, we have another application (not SAP) which get users for authentication from this AD. And there is a problem when user resets password using SAP system. Thus user in SAP System can change his password (there is enebled "Password Change Required" checkbox) due to first login. But when the user logs in through another application, AD authenticate it with "Initial password" without ask to change password.
I thought we must map 'passwordchangerequired' field of SAP UME to some field in MSAD but to which? pwdLastSet? It has different datatype..
Who faced the same problems and who can tell how to solve this one?
