Hi all,

We experienced a case where the user created a Condition Contract for an IC customer. In the business Volume selection criteria the user only entered customer number and distribution channel.

This IC customer is used across several sales organizations belonging to different company codes. So, what happened is that accruals was created for 2 company codes for this contract. This in turn caused troubles when we tried to reverse the accruals as we have not allowed the settlement program to post to different company codes (Badi not active). We solved this by simulating that the badi was active in the debugger and then reverse the accruals.

But my question is: Is there any way to make a specific business volume selection criteria mandatory entry? I want to make sales organization ad a mandatory business volume selection criteria.

Br,

Petter

Hi Petter,

you can use the setting below (Define and configure Sets of Field Combinations).

Minimum Number of Entries for Field Combination

Specifies the minimum number of entries for a field combination in the business volume selection for a condition contract.

Use

When you enter a value, it makes the field combination mandatory for the business volume selection.

When you enter a value for a field combination with an assigned field combination group, the system performs the check at field combination group level. This means that the minimum number of entries for all field combinations of the group is totaled and checked against the number of business volume selection criteria entries for the field combinations of the group.

Example

The field combinations FC1 and FC2 have field combination group A. You have entered 1 as the minimum number for FC1 and you have not made an entry for FC2. This means that you have to enter at least one entry for FC1 or FC2 in the business volume selection criteria of a condition contract.
