Hi IQ Experts,
We have an IQ database with a dozen different database users that all have database objects (tables, indexes, procs, views etc...).
We also have a number of developers who have personal users that need to execute DML and manage (create, alter, and to a lesser extent drop) the database objects owned by the users mentioned above.
How is this scenario generally implemented in IQ? Is there a way to permission the developer's users to manage the objects owned by the other users without using database-wide privileges like ANY or DBA?
Regards, KC

SAP IQ supports user defined roles which let you define a custom collection of privileges. You than assign the role that you have defined to the appropriate users.
