Hello everyone,

I would like to send an email in the public cloud. It is shown as "sent" in the Email Control app. The domain has been defined for both inbound and outbound, but the email does not arrive, neither in the spam folder nor in the inbox. I have not set up a mail server in the BTP nor created any communication arrangements, as this was not included in the Scope 1QL. What do I need to do, and where can I get the information from? See Screenshot. Or is mail Sending in the Starter System not possible? SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Thank you and best regards

Hi Simon_Lehnert ,

Have you already also setup the Email Sender Address, the SPF records and the DKIM?

DKIM is a request to cloud operations.

This is all outlined in 1LQ

Usually the SPF records and DKIM turn out to be the missing steps.

Thank you

Jerry

PS the 718 error is a clue - it could mean the recipient is invalid or unknown - did you check the Monitor Email Transmission app?

Thank you, Jerry! It worked after setting up DKIM. The messages are coming through, but the response is still 718. However, they were sent successfully. Thanks and best regards, Simon.

Thanks Simon for letting us know! I would recommend to create a support ticket to check the cause of the 718 error.
