Mail Destination on SAP Build Process automation

Hello All,

I have been trying to configure Mail destination with a Gmail SMTP server. Then when testing email sending on the SAP Build Process Automation "Option" tab, I get an error message but I really don't understand it. I followed the guide lines to set up the Mail destination with the oAuth protocol. I am using a trial subaccount. The error is as below.

I'm wondering whether I did the mail server configuration properly. Is there any detailed guide on how to do this connection with Gmail SMTP server. Do any of you have already met this error message?

you can validate once with my screenshot, I can able to configure GMAIL and working smooth. No issues at all..

Gmail Password will have to generated from account. google.com to update in Destination.. you shouldn't be using gmail password on how you login daily.

Solved.

Thanks, indeed I had to request an App password on my goolge account.

Today I ran several times into the same error as Herve's one.

Solved it this way:

1. Creating an app password on Google Account->Security->How you sign in to Google->2-Step Verification->App passwords
   

   

2. Then entered that app password in password field of Destination.

I chose a custom name then e-mails finally could be sent.
