Dear all,
we just migrated from Lumira 2.1 to Lumira 2.2 and the new crosstab rendering is killing our existinig layout. We know that SAP does not support custom CSS adjustments in crosstabs, but the standard layout just takes to much space for our use cases.
With Lumira 2.1 we were able to adjust font-size and some paddings in the crosstab in order to have it require less screen space, however in 2.2 these adjustments lead to a broken layout (shifted header and content area). With 2.2 it seems like height and width of each cell is calculated in a different way than with 2.1. We tried a lot of things to decrease the crosstab size in 2.2 including CSS zoom, transform with scale, padding- and margin adjustments on various levels of the crosstab HTML structure, but no chance - none on them work in all scenarios. CSS zoom e.g. works fine for reporting crosstabs, but when we switch to planning mode the layout is ruined (see SAP note 2715298).
Generally it just feels like the HTML structure and rendering of crosstabs is way to complex, but I guess this is related to the fact that it should be very flexible.
Long story short: Does anyone have a method to reduce the crosstab size with Lumira 2.2 working with reporting and planning scenarios in Internet Explorer and Chrome?
Best regards,
Robert
