Long text boxes - cannot view full content

Hello,

We have several long text boxes we use on our screens (Descriptions, notes, etc). However, on reports, we only see the first so many characters, not the full content of the text box. Is there a setting I can use in PDI to get these to show?

- What data type are you using?

- Is it a partner BO or an XBO?

- This was done with PDI or Key User Tools?

With report, you mean you created an analytics data source and in that one it is cut?

Hello Jens, I have tried with fields from both the PDI and KUT. Right now using the KUT, there are fields where the data will fit and we can see the full data scroll when hovering. However, when running a report throught the KUT, it just pulls what is visible even thought the full data is in the field

Hi,

If you are working on custom screen then you can change the property of fields(description, notes, etc..)

1. select the field and change the property.

  2. Set fieldwidth and height of  fields(Row count) according to your text.

Hello - thanks for your reply. I have a large field set and all the data can fit in the box - however when I report on it, it only shows the part visible on the screen, even though all the data is available. Is the only way to fix this to create every field with a huge text box? It seems there should be some way to pull the full text data.
