Local sap commerce connection with Kyma

I am trying to connect local SAP commerce system with KYMA on BTP, once I create the system and formation in SAP BTP, I get the token and once I register kyma with certificate , kyma certificate is imported but it remains in progress and but I don't see the events getting exported to Kyma cluster registered with BTP, going through lot of questions I landed here where it is told that we need to create SSL certificate but the details is not clear fully. https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_COMMERCE_CLOUD_PUBLIC_CLOUD/bad9b0b66bac476f8a4a5c4a08e4ab6b/cdd6c450a... , I am not able to execute step 3 here

Ensure that the SAP Commerce Cloud instance or cluster uses a proper SSL certificate for HTTPS connection and not the default self-signed one. How do we create and where should we out it for sap commerce.

Can somebody help how to execute the above steps and in sap commerce what would be the Kyma url whether it would be the API address present on the cluster or something else.

jamie.cawley can you please help here as I am doing few POC's on kyma extensibility with sap commerce and got stuck here.

Hi pandeysuresh06,

The steps mentioned are applicable for SAP Commerce Cloud.

SSL certificate is already handled by SAP Commerce Cloud.

With your local commerce instance, you might need various workarounds to emulate what is happening with proper SAP Commerce Cloud Kyma pairing. e.g. among others, it should be visible on the internet.

gabbi I have used ngrok to make my api's accessible, when we are importing token url from sap btp after creating system and formation, all the Kyma services are getting created, when I am trying to ping kyma url (updating the kyma-services url using the api address present on the kyma cluster) , i am getting handshake exception saying that "unable to find valid certification path to requested target".

1) Is the Api server address correct url which I should be updating for the consumed destination url for kyma-services in sap commerce backoffice

2) How we ca export the events to Kyma.

We want to do POC to show the usability of Kyma to clients as SAP moving to composable commerce ,it would be great help if you can help me find this answers
