Load failure

Hi,

I have an infopackage in an infosource that loads data from a flat file to an infocube. The infopackage works fine when i start it manually, but when i start it using a process chain it doesnt load... i get a message (monitor) for a timeout.

I dont know what im doing wrong. Please advice hoe to solve the problem.

Hi Bryan,

I think AHP is right. The process chain does not work with flat file from work station. so you need to keep the file application server. so you manually upload is working not the process chain.

Make sure all the setting are right in infopackage.

In spite of all the above suggestion if it does not work then make sure that proper authorization is given to the user who is uploading.

hi Bill,

when you start it manually you use option 'client workstation' (tab 'external data' ? if so, try to put the file on server and change the infopackage option to 'application server'.

and check any short dump st22 and system log sm21.
