Live Connection with Tunnel method and Mobile devices

Hello,

Is it possible to use Mobile apps to see Stories if my Live Connection is through the Tunnel (Cloud Connector) method? I read conflicting articles and i am bit confused on the matter.

Hello thodoros_polychronopoulos and foekenm ,

Tunnel Connections support for live HANA and BW data IS SUPPORTED for SAP Analytics Cloud Mobile App both on android and iOS. I am attaching some links and references where this was announced in recent releases.

• And for iOS support was announced in Q2'2021 release.

If you check also roadmap for "Mobile Analytics" for previous releases, you will see it delivered.

I apologize for the fact that documentation link for 'Live Connections' that Martijn pointed is not up to date. This could have been due to the fact that feature on mobile was released only recently. But we will take it for updating to avoid confusion.

The settings are not different for Tunnel connection on mobile. Once you have it configured on Web, you won't need VPN on mobile and story experience is seamless as you see it on non-Tunnel connections. Please let us know if any further questions or details required.
