Hi experts,
I have the following problem: I want to create a column chart that shows the YTD value per month for the current year. The chart also includes the PY YTD value for comparison.
Unfortunately, the YTD value up to the current month is also displayed in months where no data is available. For example, if data is available only until July, the chart correctly shows a gradual increase until July. However, after July, the value remains the same instead of disappearing.
I would prefer that no value is displayed instead of the last available value being carried forward. The following picture illustrates this issue: the triangle represents the PY YTD value, while the column represents the current year's YTD value.
I know that if you only have the YTD value for the current year, you can adjust the chart to display only the months up to the selected filter. However, since I also have the PY YTD value, the chart already shows all months.
Therefore, my question is: Is there a way to also limit the PY YTD in the same way as the current year YTD, so that the chart only displays the months up to the currently filtered month?
Or—even better—is there a solution where all months remain visible, but the current year YTD is only displayed up to the currently filtered month?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

I suppose if you only choose month from Jan to August in widget filter, you should still both current year YTD and also PY YTD for comparison. My example with 3 months selected.
