Learning the usage of fields ( BUT000-AUGRP )

I just wondering what usage the following standard table field is and impact on the application as the authorization object.

BUT000-AUGRP

of course,  I get the information of normal usage.  But I would be happy if you could demonstrate more detail on this field.

Presumed that we have business partner record 'REC01' in this table BUT000  having the value 'X' in field AUGRP

Of cource, the 'X' is already registered as the entries Standard Authority Group .

record 'REC01' , What special restriction or ,kind of,  privilege could be obtained in Application?
