Launching Personas Flavor Directly

Hi,

We use transaction /PERSONAS/LAUNCH to launch flavors directly from GUI side. It works fine, the only small issue is that the users are required to enter their login credentials when the flavor is launched even though they've already login to SAP using GUI.

Is there anyway to get around this? If the user is already log into SAP through GUI then they wouldn't require to login again when launching Personas flavors.

We don't use Fiori launchpad.

Hi,

It is not quite clear whether your users use SAP GUI for Windows or SAP GUI for HTML for calling up the classic applications. Our assumption is, the user is already logged in to SAP GUI for Windows but for calling up flavors, the user would need either SAP GUI for HTML or Slipstream Engine. In that case, a Single Sign-on (SSO) needs to be setup to connect the system with the browser for either of the rendering engine of the flavor.
