What is Keyfigure Selection ? Is it the process when you Create or choose Basic Keyfigures, Restricted Keyfigures and or calculated Keyfigures ?

Key figures is represent measurable values or metrics that are used to quantify business data. These key figures can include basic key figures, restricted key figures, and calculated key figures.

Basic Key Figures: These are predefined key figures that represent standard measures or metrics.. Examples include net sales, total revenue, quantity sold, etc. Basic key figures are typically provided by the system and can be readily used in reporting.

Restricted Key Figures: Restricted key figures are derived from basic key figures by applying specific filters or restrictions. These filters can be based on characteristics or dimensions such as time, location, product, customer, etc. Restricted key figures allow you to focus on specific subsets of data and analyze key figures within those defined constraints.

Calculated Key Figures: Calculated key figures are derived from existing key figures or a combination of key figures using mathematical formulas or calculations. They provide a way to perform custom calculations and create new key figures tailored to specific reporting requirements. Calculated key figures can be used to derive insights that are not directly available from basic key figures.
