Hello Experts!
I encountered an issue with the job scheduling, In particular the job SAP_REORG_SPOOL where I changed the Variant on which the job executes the report RSPO0041. Whenever I change the Variant to a custom one, about 1h later, at around 42m after each full hour, the job gets reset to it's factory settings. The job was originally created under the user DDIC.
So instead I chose to create my own job ZSAP_REORG_SPOOL where I added the custom Variant and scheduled it to run once a day yadayadayada basically keeping the remaining options the same. In order to avoid a conflict between the original job and my own, new one I also changed the old job from 'released' state to 'planned'. But for whatever reason, again after one hour, the job was in the 'released' state again. Later found out it was at XX:41:00 (HH:MM:SS).
Edit: I was able to pinpoint the time of change to the timeframe between XX:41:40 and XX:41:49, most likely around XX:41:45 to XX:41:47
My first thought was that maybe User A can't change a job created by User B so I asked a colleague to change one of my own jobs but they did not reset back.
The next step I took was to login as DDIC user and change the job under this user but still, the job keeps getting reseted.
I tried searching for jobs that run around that point in time (in the selection for the time I tried both my local ime and UTC time but I found nothing helpfull.
So my question is: Is there another job that runs every hour that changes the state or is the reset a sideffect of another job that is running and I am just not able to find the one responsible?
Thanks for help and regards
Fabian
Request clarification before answering.
Hi, I checked client 000 with the DDIC user and there is no such job named 'AUTOABAP' or any job with the report 'SAPMSSY6' in our system. Neither on the 000 client nor on the 100 client.
This was ment to be a reply instead of an answer -_- Ignore this.
