JDBC System Object (MaxDB)

Hi guys,

I have one question I am able to read table from MAXDB through Java class, now I would like to do same in portal environment EP7.0 SP6. I have created a System Object for JDBC and gave these info

URL: jdbc:sapdb://localhost/TEST

Driver Class Name: com.sap.dbtech.jdbc.DriverSapDB

User Mapping Type : user,Admin

I have created user with pass same as in database in portal and assign Admin group, plus I tried to do usermapping as well. I am always geting connection test fail.

We are using Maxdb db for Portals there is no other database on the server. Do I need to do some changes from Visual Admin on WAS?

Yes, I think you've gotta define the drivers in Visual Administrator. What is the error message you get when you try the connection via the Portal?
