If it is a flat txt file, then before mapping, u may convert it into the xml format using file content conversion. Why to use java mapping

If we change it to xml, target structure going to be changed.......With out changing the target structure I need to do mapping?

Can u please elaborate on ur scenario a bit? What do u expect at sender and receiver side?
