ITSMobile script error

Hi,

I use wavelink browser on motorola for its applications (WM 6.5, MC9190)

I am getting a strange script error after barcode is read

error is coming as pop up it says

Script Error

Error 0x800A138F reported executing script: javascript:setOkCodeEnter();

do you have any idea about this issue?

hi Omer Savran,

Before scanning your barcode, please make sure the focus is on the respective field where the read barcode is supposed to fill values. You may give a default focus to that input field as soon as you land on that page.

Please let me know if you are pressing any button after scan and before this error occurs.

If they are not the above cases, there might be compatibility issues between the barcode scanner and the device.

Please let me know more.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply but it is not for my case.

Barcode value is read and the input field gets populated then error comes as pop up.

If I close the pop up and press enter manually it works fine.

Will need more information on the ITSMobile service.

What template generation was used and what are the ITSMobile 'GUI Configuration' parameters in SICF for this ITSMobile service.

Also what is the version of the Wavelink browser used?

Hi Oisin,

I choose MOBILE as generating style

Wavelink version is 7.3

Gui configuration parameters in sicf are

transaction = zwm_menu

theme = 99

itsmobile = 1

singletransaction = 1

itsmobilemsgsound = 1

If I use wavelink, that strange script error occurs

If I use IE, screen size, text size, buttons are too small and fields are not straight

I also try meta tags

<meta name="viewport" content="width=480,user-scalable=no" />

<meta name="MobileOptimized" content="480">

Hi Omer,

do you know what script it has issue with?

I would recommend to add the parameter

~sources zwm_menu,itsmobile

don't believe you need the ~theme parameter

Finally I solved it

I used start service for session management in the link

.../sap/public/bc/its/mobile/start?~startservice=/sap/bc/gui/sap/its...

that couses script error in wavelink.

If I use link without startservice, everything works fine
