It is not possible to debug programs in SAP GUI for HTML

I am logged into my SAP session, on Chrome, and a simple program:

The program executes and runs, no problem. I cannot however debug this program, or any program for that matter.

All my settings are correct:

However when I try and set an external breakpoint:

I get the following message:

This is odd because I am trying to set an external breakpoint! Has anyone else had this problem and solved it in any browser?

All help is really greatly appreciated.

It looks like you are running it via the browser which it's telling you that you cannot do, but with the GUI you should be able to enable an external breakpoint that will initiate the debugger.

Yes one should be able to enable external breakpoints and use this, but I cannot.

They have moved into the cloud and therefore a normal GUI is not available.

Thank you for your input, which I always value so much. I have tried those 3 links already, and others and unfortunately it hasn't solved the issue. I will log it with SAP.
