Dear Experts,

I hope this message finds you well. We are experiencing some critical issues with the MDK Client version 2405 compared to the App Store MDK client. The same metadata and codebase yield different behaviors in the two clients. Below are the specific discrepancies we have identified:

  1. Operation List - Clock In Button

    • Expected Behavior: When clicking the "Clock In" button, a pop-up should be triggered.
    • Observed Behavior: This works as expected in the App Store MDK client but does not trigger the pop-up in the MDK client version 2405.

    • Client version - 2405.                               App Store MDK client
  2. Request Review Button

    • Expected Behavior: Clicking the "Request Review" button should open a screen where users can update time, notifications, and notes. Upon changing the time and clicking "Done," the updates should reflect.
    • Observed Behavior: This functionality works in the App Store MDK client but does not function as expected in MDK client version 2405.

    • Client version - 2405.                               App Store MDK client
  3. Hold Button - Toolbar Redraw

    • Expected Behavior: Clicking the "Hold" button should trigger a redraw of the toolbar section from operations.
    • Observed Behavior: The toolbar section is not being redrawn in MDK client version 2405, while it works correctly in the App Store MDK client.

      • Client version - 2405.                               App Store MDK client

We have ensured that the metadata used is identical across both environments, and the issue seems isolated to the MDK client version 2405.

Please let us know if there are any known compatibility issues or updates available to address these discrepancies. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to your response.

You should always check the support matrix when upgrading.  Looking at the matrix, if you are running SSAM 2405 metadata in the newer 2410 client you need to apply note 3538225.  Have you already applied this note?

Thank you for your suggestion. As per your advice, I reviewed the support matrix and ensured compatibility. I have applied the SDK Plugin version 2410.0.2 and MDK version 24.7.6, along with the metadata patch as per note 3538225. While the application builds successfully, it crashes immediately upon opening. Could you please provide guidance on resolving this issue? Looking forward to your response.

Have you verified the MDK 24.7.6 dependencies by running the MDK Dependency Installer

Hi,

the last MDK client did crash - but please use the latest MDK client, this does not crash in my case and you should be able to solve that issue. I have tested both iOS and android and now it works fine.

Hope that helps.
