Issues with Data Blending in SAC Stories

I have two different Models in SAC and I want to combine this two model in a story and create charts and table visualization. 

Both Models has a shared dimension, In model 1 the dimension members are unique and in model 2 the dimension members are repeated. In SAC story, using link dimensions I have linked the shared dimension and I get a green tick there. Now comes the problem, when I try to create a chart  with linked dimension I am getting an error. It says  the linked dimension for this model is not included in the visualization dimension bindings.  Note: I am not using any live connection Models

Help me to figure out this issue and solve it.

I have not found a solution yet for the above issue. In the meantime, I got to know that blending is not supported for table visualizations. So, what is the current solution available if I need to have a table that has to pull data from two different data source? Will the blending functionality for the tables come to SAC?

Try Adding the linked dimension in the dimension area of the chart

Yes, It worked. But it is strange that I have to use the linked dimension mandatorily in the chart. I have switched to Classic design story and there it works fine. Thanks for your inputs.
