We are encountering an issue with a custom UI5 application that integrates with an on-premise SAP application via application federation. The custom UI5 app contains a link to the federated application, which works as expected. However, the federated application itself contains additional links to other applications that we do not wish to federate. (and are not part of the federated role).
When a user clicks on the federated application link, the application attempts to load but results in a blank screen with no error message or indication of what might be going wrong so the user does not know what is happening.
- Is this behavior expected when attempting to access non-federated links from a federated application?
- Are there any configuration parameters or settings that can be applied to either the custom UI5 app or the federated application to prevent this issue? For example, can we restrict or block access to non-federated links?
