Issue with CS_SEC_EXTENDED_ENCRYPTION to CS_TRUE

Issues connecting to Sybase ASE 16.0 SP03 PL14 (on rhel 7.9) from SDK 16.0 SP04 PL06 (windows) having CS_SEC_EXTENDED_ENCRYPTION to CS_TRUE in the ocs.cfg 

when the above setting is enabled the connection hangs (using isql) and we did try to setup Ribo and that did not help us in anyway ,it was just existing without any response info back in the ribo txt files 

after setting CS_SEC_EXTENDED_ENCRYPTION to CS_FALSE the connection is established ,so any changes with this in recent ASE/SDK releases ???

Network password encryption 'true' is now the default in SDK 16.0 SPL04PL06.

What is the run value of 'net password encryption reqd' ASE configuration parameter?

it was having the issue irrespective of what the target ASE was having ,so both yes enable or disable it was giving that error

Can you confirm what is the value of ASE configuration "net password encryption reqd" set to ?

Also, please confirm if $LD_LIBRARY_PATH includes directories which have libsapcrypto.so

Also we need to confirm you are not using old libsapcrypto.so (underneath CCL libraries) libraries which are old/incompatible
