Hello guys.
On May 1th was changed to the time zone of Venezuela UTC -04:30 to -04:00 in the Windows operating system servers BO changing from Caracas to La Paz.
In the DBconsole (Oracle Enteprise Manager) link show me the error: Agent unreachable. When i check the OracleDBConsoleBO service it´s not working
Applying various solutions of Oracle forums. The adjustment was made in the database with the following command:
- ALTER DATABASE SET TIME_ZONE = '-04:00';
and next command:
- emctl resetTZ agent
- emctl start dbconsole
The service OracleDBConsoleBO start fine, but when i login in the bwroser Oracle Enteprise Manager the service fails again.
I appreciated the tips o any help.

1. how is this even remotely related to the SAP and BusinessObjects platform ?
You have an oracle product not working after time zone change - you need to work with oracle to resolve the issue.

Oracle DB is not part of the SAP BI4.1 Sp3 installation, is not interdependent with it on operational level.
None of BI 4.1 processes can be controlled from DBconsole (Oracle Enteprise Manager). and none of the oracle processes can be controlled from BOE tools.
The OracleDBConsoleBO service is most likely your oracle instance to host BOE CMS DB.
So the best way to address this issue is to open support ticket with Oracle or work thru it on oracle forums.
