Issue in opening graphical calculation view editor

Hi,

I am facing issue in opening graphical calculation view editor. There are no error messages .

When I am trying to open 1 particular graphical calculation view, it is just showing blank page instead of all relevant nodes.

This issue is only for 1 single calc. view, rest other calc. views are working fine.

Please suggest possible cause and resolution for this issue.

SAP HANA Modeler perspective --> Calc. View open --> blank page

SAP HANA Version 1.00.096.00

SAP HANA Studio Version 2.0.13

Hello,

Can you check if you have the needed privileges to view the view in question?

Also, the Studio revision you are using is quite old. I would recommend an upgrade (2.2.7 + maybe?)

Also have you tried re-deploying the view again and re-activating?

All reporting calc views have same authorization privilege and this issue is only for 1 single reporting calc. view.

Yes, I have redeployed the view and it's successfully redeployed without any warning or error but still issue persist.

what tables and schemas are being accessed? It's either a studio bug or you don't have the authorisations

Hi Michael,

Same calc. view is working fine in QA environment with same authorization and there is no changes in any user authorization privileges.

This view has attribute views and calc. view and all underlying attr. view and calc. view are working fine with same user ID.

I have checked object lock table and there is no lock entry as well.

Is there any system table to check entries for corrupted information views?

P.S. I have also tried to open this view from SAP HANA Studio 2.2.8 still same issue.

Hi Michael,

Issue is in dev environment, where I have developed this calc. view.

It was working fine after I developed and then transported it to QA box and it is working fine in QA.

Next , i had done some changes in dev. version and after changing it activated fine without error then this issue occurred.

right click - open with graphical editor... do you see any errors once you tried opening it on the developer perspective?

what other issues do you see... are you able to open any other files?

I did not get any error or warning when I opened it in development perspective.

Yes, I am able to open other calc. view from same package in development perspective.
