Issue External HANA View Query on Total Stock non cumulative

Hi Guru,

we need to use in HANA the non cumulative key figure related to Total Stock.

As first step we created the external HANA view on Bex query that display Total Stock (non cumulative KF), Total Receipt (cumulative kf), Total Issue (cumulative Kf) with details Calendar Day - Plant - Material.

In HANA Studio we enabled the External HANA view for that query.

Checking the data using Data Preview in HANA we noticed that total Stock value in external hana view are different from value available in the source query, instead the Total Receipt and Total Issue are exactly the same.

Someone has the same issue? what do we miss?

I know this is an old post. But in case you read this, do let me know if you were able to see anything in Total Stock Qty in Calc view.

For me i am able to see Receipt and Issue Qty for a particular Material and Calday, but there is no data in Total stock field.

shasan there should be no value in TOTAL STOCK since it will be calculated upon generation of report, right?

I was able to see data for TOTAL Stock when i ran the report. But same was not appearing when i did a data preview for External Calc View generated from the same query.

I have not give it a try yet, but do you know if I directly consume this calc view(query generated) , in some other calc view joining it with some data set,and then exposing that Calc view to be used in some Bex query, I will be able to get the data for Total Stock ?
