issue creating .xsodata file

I used below blog to create .xsodata file

When I try to open xsodata file. I get below error message.

"An internal error has occurred.

java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "org.eclipse.jface.viewers.ISelectionProvider.getSelection()" because the return value of "org.eclipse.ui.texteditor.ITextEditor.getSelectionProvider()" is null"

When I do run as XS service I get below error.

Cannot invoke "java.net.URI.toURL()" because the return value of "com.sap.ndb.studio.xse.debugger.core.XSDBGRepositoryUtil.getFileURI(org.eclipse.core.resources.IFile)" is null
