Hello I followed instructions in this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hteLyswrhsE but when I go to the SAP cloud appliance I got error:

The subscription policy limit for resource type 'Total Regional vCPUs' was exceeded. The limit for resource type 'Total Regional vCPUs' is 4 per subscription, the current count is 0, and the requested increment is 44. The subscription policy limit for resource type 'Standard ESv5 Family vCPUs' was exceeded. The limit for resource type 'Standard ESv5 Family vCPUs' is 4 per subscription, the current count is 0, and the requested increment is 40. Please contact Microsoft Azure support to enable the required resources.

Do I need to realise something previously in MS Azure for example?

- To create thr resource for the machines

- To assign some role?

- Is the video completed?

Regards

Hello Nikola

About the IP Range so the IP's are Public not privated. So these IP ranges belong to the network who want to access to the appliance correct?  no the appliance itself

For example

Company A want to connect to Appliance, Network: 100.20.30.0/24

Company B want to connect to Appliance, Network: 200.20.30.0/24

If both companies wnat to use Appliance. Both network shoul be added in the parameter shown?

Thanks for your correct explanation.

Yes, it supports multiple IP ranges.

Hello

1. I need to buy resources previously to create an environment S4HANA  Is Correct? because the free account is not supporting the resources.

2. According your explanation , If I  write 100.200.100.100 (Public IP) it means that only this IP public can connect with the deployment  , and in this part only IP public should be inserted Not Privated . Is that correct?

Regards

Hi Eduardo,

You have to ensure Azure subscription with higher quota. This is probably not possible with your free account. You can check that with Azure documentation or Azure customer support.
Quota in Azure is not paid. It is pay per use – you start paying after the appliance is created. SAP Cloud Appliance Library will give you a cost forecast when you are starting the appliance.

Correct, this is public IP, you will access your appliance via its public IP, otherwise you need VPN.
If you want to limit to IP 100.200.100.100, you have to write 100.200.100.100/32.

Nikola

Hello

1. Correct If I have 4 cores , I would have to find a Deployment that uses that 4 cores. So likely the free acccount can not offer that.

2. About the IP's to insert:
2.1 Which IP to write Private or Public?
2.2 are  these Ip's to assign to the deployment , for example If I put 192.168.30.50 Is this Ip for the S4HANA machine? or
2.3 The Range of IP is for the machines that can connect to the deployment

You are not selecting the IP of the deployment - it will be selected by Azure. You create a restriction who will have access the deployment.
If you want to restrict it to your own IP only, you need to put your public IP with mask 32. It is like 1.2.3.4/32 (192.168.30.50 is private address).

Hello I write again here because I used comments area where is not possible to format the message:

1. I am using the free account in Azure. accordin the video thst was shown.  Do you mean that with that account  I can not create a environment to test S4HANA?   I understand that If I increase the quota means to increase RAM and CPU and I am asumming that it represents a cost ( is not free).

2. My question about the IP address is what Do I put in that option I am uploading the image

Hello,

Your subscription is limited to 4 cores. You can check this limit in Azure portal. I'm not sure you can change it for a free account.
Those limits are just a quota - you don't pay for them until you start using them. However to create the appliance you need 44.

About the IP - it is restriction which IPs will be allowed to access the appliance. It is in CIDR format and 0.0.0.0/0 means allowed for everybody.
This could be changed later too.

Nikola
