ISA B2B iview / SSO

Gentlemen and gentlewomen.

I have a question regarding Ep 6.0 nw04 sp11 and CRM B2B 3.1 integration.

I want to integrate the firstpage of B2b ISA with the portal using SSO, so I have updated the system object with ISA information.

The question is: How do I create the iview? There is no ISA iview on the iview type list when i try to create a new one, and i cannot find a fitting template either. I do not want to use a business package. I just want the first page integrated into the portal. Plain and (usually) simple.

Any ideas?

I found a proposed solution on the forum :

For your link to ISA, use "/indexNotStandalone.jsp" instead of "init.do" page.

It informs ISA, it's used inside the portal.

We are also trying to integrate ISA b2b into EP6. The only 2 solutions we have identified is to either 1) Create an "URL iview" which points to ISA b2b installation, or 2) Implement the CRM business package with the "Customer" role. This business package has bits and pieces of ISA in differnet iviews.

Kelly,

We are trying to do the same thing. Did you get any input from SAP on how to integrate. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Hello

We're looking to do the same thing (ISA for R3 + EP6.0). And SAP told us, there is a parameter to give to ISA to tell it "you're used inside the portal", to have a better integration.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you more since we don't have ISA yet...

The URL parameter that you can use in the URL iView is:

"portal" and the value is "yes". (Of course without the quotes!)

And do you have any idea if this will avoid or skip the login or register page in the ISA application?? How did you got to do this?

Hi,

I have integrated ISA R/3 B2B into Portal 6.0, using only an URL-iView, with the .../b2b/b2b/init.do - link.

I have also maintained the following parametres:

URL Parameter Value

portal yes

If you have SSO set up correctly between the portal server and the R/3 backend system (or corresponding backend) the automatic logon should work.

I now have one problem though, it seems as if the portal is somehow blocking certain ISA popups, as well as hiding some options, e.g. to show invoices. Be aware of this if you implement this solution. I will try without the URL parameter above to see if that helps. I know the SSO will work anyway, the ISA-application just won't look as good.

Good luck!
