Is transposing columns to rows missing in the SAP Analytics Cloud new model type?

Hi Experts,

In SAP Analytics Cloud new model type (the first option in the "Create Model" popup: "Start with Data", unckeck "Use first row as column headers"), the "Transpose Columns to Rows" button is not visible. It seems this model type does not support it.

If it is not supported yet, how can we perform the transposition in this case?

Thanks!

Hi @pedro_rangel ,

I tried same scenario with data model but its not worked you can go with 2nd option.

Or  you have to do it in excel then go with 1st option

Here is the step for empty model transpose option

  1. Go with 2nd option start with empty. create dimensions and measures

  1. Upload your input file
  2. In data wrangling steps you have option for transpose

  1. First select column those you want to transpose using control key

  1. Select highlighted area Unpivot in pic 1
  2. Click on ok
  3. After transpose your table will look like this

Just save and map to dimensions and measures in the next step.

@pedro_rangel

If your looking for the option to select the column count from where to unpivot as it was in Classic model then its not available in new model Wrangling. Now its easier to do it in Excel rather then using the Transpose option available in SAC.
