Is there any Report version control in BO XI R2

Is there any Report version control in BO XI R2 when report is change and u can to view revious instance of it.

This is manually possible via Schedule older report whenever required however how about Version Control facility Is it there in BO.

Hi Sam,

No there is no Version Controll available in BO. If you really want to get technical, you could use alternatives... We have used Visual Source Safe with Desktop Intelligence and Universes to keep track of changes and versioning.

Life Cycle Manager I think is being introduced again in future releases. Not sure, I also need to go over some literature again.

but i dont know if you can control the version of your reports or not,

the product name is "Business Objects Lifecycle Manager"

Hi,

I guess there is no Version Control in Business Objects ..Hope you cannot see the Older version reports once it is Exported or Opened if the New version is installed.
