Hi,

For the specific user task where you want "auto-approval" after a time period, you can add a boundary timer event and activate the Cancel flag (Canceling Boundary Event). When the specified time is reached, the user task is canceled and the workflow will proceed to the next steps. You can check this answer for a similar question.

Thanks for the response 🙂

One more quick query... Is it also possible to add a condition on the boundary event? In my case i wanted to turn on this event for a certain set of companycode.

Hi md_manauwar

You can use Service Tasks in BTP workflow, in which you can call your S4HANA-related destination and crack your requirement. Check this out. Hope it helps 🙂

Hi Jenifer,

I have a quite similar requirement on BTP workflow. I need to design a workflow that needs to auto trigger the API/Odata srv call to send/receive/update the backend (S4hana) table .

Any help/suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
