Hello SAP Experts,
in the context of GDPR and data protection, when a user accepts push notifications and receives a push token,
whether the timestamp is saved when the push token is received?
Could you please clarify this to me?
Thank you,
Best regards

Hi,
Yes, there is a timestamp saved when we receive a call from the mobile SDK and it is stored on the SAP Emarsys platform database.
In the scenario where a user accepts push notifications, the push token is received and stored on the backend (with a timestamp). If we receive a call from the device and the user has disabled push, we will update the device record by clearing the push token. Again, we store a timestamp for this update.
Hope that clarifies it!
