Is the forum slow today?

At least that's my impression (using FF 28), it takes rather long to navigate to questions and so on - other sites seem to get displayed as fast as usual...

Aside: I've asked a new question instead of updating this one because I guess it's running on a different server/data center now:)

Seems to be responding fairly well for me.

Yes, the forum is now running in a different data center and on different (virtual) hardware than before the recent move.

Response seems pretty good for me for now. But around noon I've noticed a significant latency when I opened questions from the start screen.

Yes, that's what I've experienced, too (with "noon" in CEST) - and adding comments has been slow, as well (not that I have done that much comments to know exactly...)

Adding comments and upvoting comments feels still real slowwwww - though that has been now and then in the past, too.

FWIW: We found an old connection to the database that was consuming CPU time. Killing this connection seems to have resolved the issue. We're continuing to investigate what caused the connection to spin, as well as putting some measures in place to detect and correct this issue in the future (some of these measures were in place on the old forum but had not been instituted on the new box - oops).
