According to KBA2597456 - How to update the S-user ID name - SAP for Me - SAP for Me , currently it is not possible to change the name on an S-user ID without contacting SAP. S-user IDs are intended to be used only by one individual since there is history tied to each S-user ID (e.g. authorizations, incidents, Service Messages, Certifications, etc). Due to this, SAP does not allow S-user IDs to be reused/transferred/overwritten to other individuals -- and the e-mail address should match the S-user's first and last name.
To prevent reuse of an S-user ID by a different person, it is currently not allowed to change personal contact details (first and last names) for an S-user ID. Note: S-users can update limited information for their own S-user ID such as phone number or e-mail address, and some data can only be changed by the administrators (see KBA 1271545).
If a name update is required for an S-user ID, SAP can make the changes only for the following reasons as long as the S-user ID is for the same person (not a different person):
- Name is spelled incorrectly
- First name and last name (surname) data is transposed in the wrong fields
- The first letter is mistakenly lowercase.
- Legal name changed (e.g. marital status change, gender change, etc.)
