To be more specific:

"AIX 7.2 TL 5

      SAP validation tests were successfully performed using AIX 7.2 TL 5 SP1."

means starting form SP1 all upcoming SP's are also valid. So yes. Also SP9 is supported.

Beside this, please have a look also to:  1780629 - AIX: Minimal OS Requirements for SAP Kernel. Make sure you use the supported version of the Runtime !
