We have experienced challenges integrating SuccessFactors with SAC or Datasphere. We are exploring whether BDC could help address some of these issues, particularly around connectivity and data consistency.
One of the main concerns is that in SuccessFactors, key data—such as headcount information—is dynamic and lacks built-in historical storage. As a result, we've had to implement workarounds to capture snapshots of employee data over time. Additionally, the integration with Datasphere is proving to be complex, especially due to the need for static parameter passing in OData queries, which limits flexibility.
Given these challenges, we would like to understand whether BDC can support more robust integration with SuccessFactors and potentially resolve these limitations. Does anyone have more information about the integration between BDC and Success Factors? Do the pre-built insight apps for Success Factors capture data over time? Where can I find more information?
