Inspected samples for characteristics are more than fixed scope

Hi, 

We have stuck in one unusual situation. At some point inspected samples for first characteristics changed to 17 however our fixed scope is 13 only. Not sure how this has happened. 

We have maintained fixed scope indicator for this characteristics

We are not using any multiple samples functionality  and sample size is 13 in sampling procedure which is fixed sample. We have inspected 4 batches with same characteristics but it was working fine , Problem occurred when we went to inspect 5th batch.  

Could you please help me resolve this , We want to maintain inspected samples as 13 from 17 . How can it be done

Hi ,

We have maintained single result recording and scope is fixed and sample size is 13 . But while doing inspection system proposed 17 while doing result recording. This happened for a first time , we used to get 13 for earlier inspection lots . Could you please suggest what would be the Root cause

do you have any dynamic modification rules applicable?

I have recreated your scenario using dynamic modification rules. You can see how samle size increased with inspection severity - from 13 to 17 on the fifth inspection lot.

Dynamic modification rules are assigned in inspection plan header. Please check your inspection plan.

No dynamic modification rule has been maintained in task list , neither at inspection setup level.

interesting. I can't think of anything, beside DMR, that would change inspection scope. Can you additionally check in transaction QDH2 if system returns any results for your material?
