Init delta process without data transfer greyed out

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to drop data to a DSO and load again. When i tried to do a init with data transfer it is taking 10 hours. Since 10 hours is long and in order not to miss the delta records, i have planned to do a init delta process without data transfer and then do a repair full yearwise.

While i am trying to do a init delta process without data transfer, it doesn't allow me as it is greyed out. By default init delta process with data transfer is checked.

How would i be able to do a init without data transfer ?

Hi,

you will have to delete the existing init with data transfer from info package-->scheduler -->initi option for source system.

instead of that, you can just run inti with data transfer with specific range (ex: recent data, last one month or two weeks depends on data volume)

then set the delta info package (create delta info package), set the frequency (schedule it daily/hourly as per your requirement)

then you can run full repair [create new info package -->full and set the info package as repair full request (from inofpackage scheduler )] to get the historic data.

There is no initialization request for source system in scheduler-->init source system, as i have already deleted it.

I don't need init with data transfer, has to go for init without data transfer and it is greyed out.

what is your data source? some data source doesn't support init without/inti simulation

datasource - 0GM_DO01 (Grants management data source)

you can check below in ecc

ROOSOURCE --> datasource--> filed INTISIMU

for all inti supported data source it is filled with  1, if it is blank you can't initiate delta using inti without data transfer. but you can check if any OSS noted if it is ok to enable(if it is allowed by SAP) the filed the data source which you are working for.
