Incorrect data loaded from DSO 1 -> DSO2

Hi,

We have Sales DSO1, with keyfields Billing Number, Billing Item, Company Code, consisting of most granular line item level data.  We've built one more DSO i.e, DSO2 on top of DSO 1 with keyfields Sales Office, Fiscalyear/Period, Payment Terms, Distribution Channel.

While we do a dataload from DSO1 -> DSO2, almost for all sales offices, we could find difference in data.

We are loading data from DSO1 -> DSO2 through changelog.  We also mapped 0RECORDMODE at the transformation from DSO1 -> DSO2.

We want to Join DSO2 with some other DSO's which has aggregated data.  If we use DSO1 which is having line item level data for Join, it'll create performance issue and also we'll not get proper data.  Thinking that we've constructed DSO2 based on our requirement for providing aggregated data.

Will this DSO2 will overwrite instead of giving us aggregated data based on keyfields which I've provided in DSO2?  Or Does it requires cube to load data or can we go with DSO 2 ?

Kindly suggest how can we take this with a proper data loaded.  Please suggest how can we overcome this issue.

Regards,

Antony Jerald.

Found solution by self 🙂

As there are blank records which doesn't have unit assigned to it which is overwriting with existing records which has volume/unit from DSO1 -> DSO2.  Converted the property of DSO2 to summation instead of overwrite, it worked.
