hello all
In SAC, i am trying restrict a direct live connection to a native hana system to see and use only a limited number of calc views.Using username and password, no SSO.
At the moment, when i create the connection, with my specific user, all calc views in the system are available for creating a model, along with the data inside.
now i know there will be some privilege settings i need to make, only i am reusing a role that works fine if the user logs on to hana studio. i.e only the desired packages and calc views within, are visible.
it seems my problem is SAC can see ALL packages and calc views within.
Hi Glen,
The advantage with Live connection is the data access levels/authorizations from data sources(HANA) are respected in SAC, that means to restrict any calculation views, this should be done at HANA Level for your user.
Thanks,
Shailendar.
