In editable alv i am using MT_MOD_CELLS data is incorrect

Hi Experts 


I have created a editable alv report and i am getting the value using MT_MOD_CELLS in that i am getting a wrong value .


for example 
value A = 9000 given in the output of the report 

but its taking 90.00

I don't know what your exact case is, but if it's a currency amount linked to a currency field whose value in the same line is a currency key with 0 decimal (e.g. COP, JPY, etc.), it's normal to have 90.00 (concept of currency in ABAP: https://help.sap.com/doc/abapdocu_latest_index_htm/latest/en-US/index.htm?file=abenddic_currency_fie...). It could be also due to a conversion routine.

my problem is i am using DEC length 7 decimal place is 2  data type for the field but when i see in mt_good_cell its showing as P(8) with 2 decimals

So, you have changed your DDIC definition and you need to refresh the ALV buffer by running the program BALVBUFDEL. Then restart your program.

NB: please provide your code, or it can take time.

The issue is more about how the internal table field and Field Catalog are defined (currency amount and currency key fields), not about how you read the screen. Also, run "ALV SOS" to see inconsistencies in the Field Catalog (search the forum).

thanks for your reply yes my issue is solved .
