In BusinessObjects the system administrator need their own named user license?

Hi all,

In a SAP BusinessObjects environment licensed with Named User licenses, does the Administrator account need its own Named User license?

If assigned a Named User license, does the Administrator consume one of the purchased licenses or is it excluded from the license count?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't know that the Administrator "has to be" configured as a Named User, but it certainly makes sense that it should be a Named User.  If the Administrator account is configured as a Named User, it will consume a license.

Thank you very much for your prompt response. Our license is Named User only, but I noticed that the default Administrator account is currently set as a Concurrent User (from the installation process). Is this considered a license violation under our current agreement? Should we convert the Administrator user to a Named User? Thanks in advance!
